2007 Precedent - Any way to quiet exhaust
Hey everyone. Been lurking on these forums, reading lots of stuff and I've seen a few threads related to ATVs and EZ-GO carts.
I was wondering if anyone has ever added a silencer to a CC Precedent (has FE 350 exhaust on it) Its not horribly loud but I'd still like to quiet it a bit more as I use it in a fairly large campground. I don't need any performance and wonder if there is an aftermarket silencer that exists or if anyone has modified it themselves. |

Re: 2007 Precedent - Any way to quiet exhaust
I picked up a muffler for a lawn tractor to attach to the end of the exhaust on the car this weekend.
It was a thread on type but had a 3/4" inside diameter so it fit perfectly over the tailpipe of the existing exhaust. It was approx 6" in length. It produced no benefit or reduction in sound. Again, the noise isn't horrible, but being in a campground I'm looking for any way to minimize the sound in consideration of others. Any other thoughts? |
