1991 EZGO Electric NOT Potentiometer. Maybe Speed Controller??
Please help. I have a 1991 EZGO that when you push the gas pedal in it cuts out. It used to be 3/4 of the pedal down and it would cut out. Now It cuts out at just a touch of the pedal. I was told to replace the Pot Box. Not fixed after new Pot Box. Please help

how old are the batteries?? can you take some battery pack volt readings and post them here?? and volt readings of each battery?? |

Batteries read over 6 volts. How do i know if its a resistor or controller?

A controller cart will nave a speed control under the seat in the center between the batteries. It is a black brick looking thing usually mounted vertically and should have a plastic cover over it. If a resister cart it will look like the this under the seat.

Only the controller carts had potentiometers...
What is the pot output? Is it smooth? |
