pds won't move in reverse
Newbie here, I have a 2005(I think) E Z Go pds that will not move in reverse. Dash mounted F R switch checks ok. I can jump the reverse wires together, bypassing the switch, still no reverse. Continuity from switch wires to connector at controller is ok, no broken wires. Do I need a new controller? Thanks for any help.

Yes, this is how the PDS controller often fails.
You have already confirmed the Toggle switch is good, yes? I use a meter and test the switch for continuity from the center out both ways. Scotty |

Yes, switch checks out ok with continuity tester. Also jumped reverse wires together, eliminating switch entirely, still no reverse. Just don't want to be a parts changer with such an expensive part as the controller. Thanks for your help.

Could he simply wire in a series style FNR? I know nothing about sepex motors.
