Also, I was wanting to check if getting voltage to the motor. Can I expect to get varying voltage depending on how far the accelerator pedal is pressed? There are four terminals to the motor, labeled A1,A2,S1,S2. Which terminals do I use?

As a part of the troubleshooting process, I'd like to jackstand and then feed the 36V directly to the motor and verify that the motor, differential, etc are okay. There are four terminals on the motor labeled S1,S2,A1,A2. Which terminals do I connect the 36V to?

Usually the motor is the last thing to fail. But it can and does happen.
I'll also state from a safety perspective, do the testing at a reduced voltage. 12v will turn the motor. That said, here is some interesting reading for you. Good luck. |
