Fire
I have a G9 that caught fire and melted the air box and plastic parts not to mention a few wires. It was hot on the rear when seated. Generally what are the causes of such a fire and does any one have some plastic parts to sell?

Re: Fire
engine fires usually start when the engine backfires sending flame and unspent fuel to the airbox.

Re: Fire
I think this cart was probably running rich. He may have been running with the choke partially on. I try to tell folks to fix the problem and leave the choke alone unless it is needed for the intended use.
