Default Can This Block be Used?

Here's my KF82 engine block. Got a dent/crack from the inside made by the rod assembly as it came apart over the past few months. I went at looked at another block locally and it had the same damage. Also saw that a member on here used some kind of epoxy to fix his. Seems like a common issue. Can I fix this and expect good results?

I'm thinking because the damage is localized and the case isn't under stress in this area when the motor is operating correctly that I should be able to neutralize it:

Eh?

Either JB-Weld it,or have it Tig-Welded.Either one will work fine.
