A new problem
Well, after cleaning the carb and getting my 95 gas cc running good. It seams I have a new problem. I'm running along peddle to the metal and the motor stops running I let off the gas and hit it again and the motor runs till it does it again. Do i have a switch at f/r going bad? If so witch one?
Also this morning when I started the cart it started with a jerk like I never felt before. |

Re: A new problem
We seem to be having a rash of these similar run-and-then-die issues lately. Check out the recent threads below. Sounds like it could be a similar problem. This one seems to have been narrowed down to a linkage issue:

Re: A new problem
how does it run when at 1/2 throttle just cruzing along? sounds like your hitting the rev limiter and the limiter is shutting the spark plug off

Re: A new problem
Runs good at half throttle, and rev limiter is disconnected.

Re: A new problem
Give us more detailed information, if you have the limiter disconnected already, then what happens when you hit the choke right after it dies?
will it try to stay running? |

Re: A new problem
I don't hit the choke when the motor stops running all I have to do is take my foot off the accelerator and back on.

Re: A new problem
Can you duplicate the issue in maintenance mode?

Re: A new problem
It won't do it in maintenance mode--in fact I ran my cart all day today and no problem.
