CC unknown model
New to site and first time cart owner.
Purchased the enclosed cart and the owner couldn't really tell me anything about it. I went to CC website to determine year with serial #AG9111*******. The return search came back as a 1989 tourall version with rear facing seats. Not the case at all but I also don't know all the modifications. However from what I have found on this site with serial # it should be a 1991? Stickers on front body says 350cc. It has an aluminum frame and rear body and bed. The body and bed are the tread "x" aluminum and everything I have seen on the carryalls is aluminum with straight grooves. I will be removing old bucket seat, unbolting bed from moved solid position back forward to hinged point. There appaers to be a missing latch of some type from both sides of the bed. The latch attachments are still in place, will a CC dealer be able to get these or should I make something? Looks as if there was a cross member where the backrest was attached that is missing as well. I presume if I go back to an original style seat I will have to build in a crossmember to support the seat bottom, backrest could be bolted to front of bed, I think. Thanks for your help and it's a great site.... |

Re: CC unknown model
It looks to me as if someone built that rear body out of diamond plate.
They did a nice job of it, it would seem. |

Re: CC unknown model
Your correct, if it didn't come factory they did an amazing job. I just presumed it was factory. The inner fenders and fender flairs match up and interconnect and were well done.

Re: CC unknown model
Yeah I'm 99% sure that's not factory, but it's a nice job. Looks like whoever did it used the rear fender flares from the stock body and put them on the diamond plate body.

Re: CC unknown model
That answers a whole lot of head scratching because I couldn't find anything on the net with that type of rear end.

Re: CC unknown model
With that serial number it should be a '91 also, not an '89 like your search revealed. The "G" in the serial stands for gas and the 91 after it is the model year.

Re: CC unknown model
Thanks for your assistance and that is what I presumed as well. I got the 89 thing straight from CC search engine.

It looks like a body kit made by M&M.
