Default new batteries for 08 ezgo cart

i have ask bout my cart charging for sometime now and finally figured out the batteries were bad. they would charge up to 80% but with just a few short trips they would almost be dead. thought i might be the charger but found out it was not. got new trojans t105 which were like the old batteries. i got all 6 for $637.00 i thought that was a fair price when i read on the forum that people were paying a higher price. the cart runs great now and stays up a lot longer than when i bought it. i found out that the old batteris were 5 and half years old. i hope these last a couple of years longer.

5 years is good. Their lifespan will be a direct reflection of how you use and maintain them. Go to cartsunlimited.net and read every webpage with the word battery in it ... free advice that will pay dividends.

Couldn't tell how often you charge the batteries from your post, but for maximum lifespan, the batteries need to be recharged after each use.

If that isn't practical or possible, at least put it on charge every night.

it stays on charge all the time unless i am using the cart and when i am finished with the cart it goes back on charge. used my cart last night with the new batteries and ran it for about 2 hours off and on and it had plenty of charge left when i put it back on the charger. from the short time i have had the new batteries i think the old ones were getting weak when i first got the cart.
