Solenoid
I have a 2003 iq DS.while installing my assy power supply I was checking voltages. Is the yellow wire on the left side of the solenoid suppose to have voltage with the key off. I assumed the two small wires turn the solenoid on ( closed) the contacts. Then at that point the voltage from the red wire could flow to the yellow and on to the controller. Either I am wrong or my solenoid is stuck closed. If so what kind of harm can that cause.

Re: Solenoid
O K I understand how it works now. I was getting the voltage from the diode that connects across the two. When you press the go pedal the solenoid closes. I think. Clear as mud.

Re: Solenoid
Yes kinda. The resistor lets a little power thru to precharge the controller.
