To much fuel
I picked up a free 79 G1. It dont have a governor on it and runs pretty good. Every now and then the plug the plug fouls out fro mgetting to much fuel. I rebuilt the carburetor and still having the same problen with to much fuel. I adjusted the bowl and found that there is a thin line between to much and not enough. Do you think a hotter spark plug work? I have put a new coil on it and a new plug.

Re: To much fuel
Well I am no golf cart expert but you say it is still getting to much fuel.. I would think there is still a problem in the carb.. You say you just rebuilt it, Any chance you missed something in the carb rebuild... Not putting down your work or nothing like that. Just trying to help. If it is getting to much fuel It leads me back to the carb.. But for the price of a plug I would change it regardless. But I would use the plug it calls for..
Thanks Ant... |
