Fuse or worse ?
I accidentally to touched the positive and negative wires coming from my 36/12 voltage reducer. Pop !!! Still have 12 volts at reducer , but cart won't move . Key turned to on does not sound. I am new to electric golf carts and don't really know if there is a fuse somewhere I blew out . Any ideas on where and how to find problem and fix. It is a 2001 club car solo rider. 36 volts ..,3 12 battery's. tc

I actually have a wiring diagram in an old manual I got with cart . I really can't make anything out on cart from this diagram.

Re: Fuse or worse ?
Here's what they sent. You sparky gurus will need to interpret!
Eric was the contact. Relayed what we are trying to do. Stated if we need help, they have a "20+ year guru" (Terry Logan) that can help. |

Re: Fuse or worse ?
ARE THERE ANY FAULT CODES ?
I would disconnect batteries for 5 min then reconnect see what happens there are 4 fuses F1 15AMP from solenoid to ? (seat) F2 5amp from solenoid to run/tow switch or key switch F3 150amp at battery pack positive a 60amp fuse at the charger receptacle my thoughts would be F1 or F2 |
