Default 1996 ezgo stoping on a hill

if i have two or more peps in it even when i am by myself i have to get a run and go then i will make. The batteries are good they are showing 6v per battery under a load the only thing that i have done to the cart is put a 3in lift on and a set of nobbys on it. The tires are on the same stock wheels so they are not much bigger
i have been told that it is the motor i just don't think so because it will just about pick the front end off the ground

Whatever you do - do not 'stall' the cart on a hill.
If you are going up a hill and the cart stops - take your foot off the pedal NOW.
Or even if you are on level ground and the cart gets stuck - stop now.
If you keep the pedal down when the cart is not moving you will burn up the motor or controller or something with a big current draw.

What is the tire size on the tire's sidewall? Stock is 18x8.50-8.

It takes more amps to turn taller, wider and/or lower pressure tires.

Are any of the cables or connections getting hot?

The stock cable in a '96 cart were 6Ga and unless they have already been upgraded, they need to be replaced with 4Ga or heavier cables. (All 13 of them)
