Yeah they aren't 2013 models. Anyways they should already have the 60 amp alternator on them.

As far as I can see yes. That is really only a band aid too as it just prolongs the inevitable. Maybe where you took the alternator could rewind it and make it a 80 or 100 amp?

Added a heavy duty truck battery in parallel, and strapped it to the frame of the spreader. That should get us through the winter, had no problems during our last overnight snow event. Once it's back to the warm sunny days of landscaping I'll remove the battery with all the other snow removal gear. Thanks for the help.
