Default Is this right ?

Hey guys. Hope I'm not breaking any rules on starting a new thread when I already have one going, (This has got to be an '86 common problem. I hope), but I just wanted to put this out there fresh. I was reading other threads and my symptoms were referenced to the motor possibly not wired correctly.

the only diagram for an 86 does not show detail of motor lugs or front view of F/R

Does this look right to you ? The lugs on my motor are off set like in drawing. So the outside top would be A1 and below that A2 and to the right top S1 and below S2 ?

That looks right, the armature connections are usually the furthest to the outside of the motor.
If you finish the first drawing showing where the rest of the F&R switch connection go, folks will be able to tell you if it is right.

They usually stamp the case with the designations - A1, S1, A2, S2.
Maybe clean the case to see if you can find some stampings.
Then you can use the wiring diagram and get it connected?
