1990 marathon
I just got a 1990 ezgo marathon that is stock but has a light kit And horn wired up to the battery pack. I plan on rewiring the batteries with 2ga or 1/0 cables and adding a 12v battery for lights and horn. I also have a 1204s-5401 450amp controller. I also have the chance to snag a d&d motor part# 170-005-0001a that is 36/48v and 4/4.6hp. This motor has an output shaft for a driveline brake. Can I still use this without the driveline brake and with a stock rearend.

Re: 1990 marathon
Does anyone know if F1 & F2 are the same as S1 & S2 on an electric motor? I think one is series wound and the other isn't but didn't know for sure.

Re: 1990 marathon
S1 is used on a series motor and F1 is used on a Sepex motor. These motors are not interchangeable.
The motor with the brake shaft may not fit the drive splines of your later model cart. |
