Re: Switch for Steering Column
If you take a piece of light box tubing, you can cut a half-round hole in it with a holesaw the same diameter as the column, then make a plate to sandwich it in place.then cap the ends of the tube and the area around the cutout, and you have a nice custom sealed box.Hope this helps.

Re: Switch for Steering Column
Another option is to mount them on the seatwall, down by your leg if that would work.

Anyway, doesn't one of the turn signal kits out there have an integrated light switch as well? Maybe not, but I thought I have seen something like that before. |

Re: Switch for Steering Column
Guys, no big deal. Thank You all for replying. Great ideas and thoughts. I was considering finding the cheapest directional kit as mentioned to see if I could make something work. Also will probably head to Home Depot or Lowes to see what they have for aluminum stock and perhaps fabricate a mount. Thanks again.

Re: Switch for Steering Column
There is always the option of the LitesEasy kit that uses a wireless steering wheel mounted controller. The kit consists of one front and one rear LED light bar with headlights, turn signals, running lights and brake lights. It also has a horn. The remote has an auxillary button to control something like your factory lights. It isn't a $5-$10 solution, but it appears to be a really nice kit that adds a lot of visibility to your cart while the remote is a very professional looking steering wheel mounted unit.

Re: Switch for Steering Column
You could use a regular turn signal switch with the light switch on the tip of it, and just not use the turn signals switch.
