upgrade questions
Hello all, The cart is a 2002 Club Car DS IQ, ser # AQ 0211-126102
Haven't done any upgrades yet. looking at a 500amp Alltrax (DCX500IQ) and D & D 502 motor along with Ausco rear disk brakes. The cart is not used off road just a hilly community. Questions: Is this model cart worth upgrading? Is IQ a problem? Would a purple bandit motor upgrade work or is having all the regen stuff removed from the motor cause problems? With the disc brakes we will need to get 10" wheels so any idea what tire size would be close to the stock height and fit without a lift kit? Thanks |

Re: upgrade questions
Site Sponsors have Non-Lifted Tire Wheel sets for sale on their websites. Check 'em out.
You may need a 3/4 offset for the Wheel to accommodate the brakes? 18.5 x 8 x 10 Golf Cart Tire on 10" rims. 205/50 x 10 Golf Cart/DOT Tire on to" Rims. (I think this is close to stock size for non-lifted carts). Can do what Yellowcar(?) did...10" Steel wheels and nice hub caps? When you get tired of the look, change the hubcaps! |
