Default Tying in harness to voltage reducer

Hi people,

I am having an issue trying to figure out where to tie in these two connections on this lighting harness to the voltage reducer I am using. This is being used on a yamaha drive 48v system with 6 8 volts. I have included pictures of both. The positive wire with fuse on the light harness and negative connection on harness is what i need to know where to tie in.

thanks for any help

p.s. on voltage reducer, red with fuse goes to main battery positive, black goes to main battery negative and blue i believe goes to combined negatives of head and tail lights. yellow/orange goes to key switch and light switch i believe

It would be nice to see a schematic but the two ring terminals in your second picture go to the 12V outputs of the reducer. The other three reducer wires go to the 48V + and - and the last goes to the key switch to turn the reducer on when the key is on and off when the key is off.

Volt ampere

Thanks for your response. So the two ring terminals just get butt connected directly to each output wire from the reducer

I believe that is correct based on your pictures. Red should be +12.
