Guess I’m missing something because the part number doesn’t correspond on their site 72558-G05

Talked with a sales rep for small engine suppliers. They say there is no way for them to know what carburetor I need, will have to go through EZGO for it. They tried cross referencing the part number and using engine identification numbers but couldn’t find anything.

Update

Local mobile mechanic found a used OEM (so he says) carburetor at his shop and cleaned it up for me. Told me to try it and see what happens and then I can pay him something for it.

I think it might have done the trick....knock on wood. Runs great, all I did was new plugs and the carburetor, didn’t touch anything else. Pic of plug is what it looked like after about 20min of driving.

I think I might need to do the “basic maintenance” adjustments though and adjust the throttle cable, since all I did was the govenor. Plus it looks like the plastic piece that hold the throttle is no longer working. See red circle in pic.
