Default 2000 ezgo txt disc brakes aftermarket kits

Are there any aftermarket disc brake kits for 2000ish ezgo txt models? My cart will not stop very good it only goes 16mph but takes around 10 to 15 feet to stop. I plan on making this cart go atleast 22mph and want good brakes before I go faster thanks.

Front/rear? There is a hydraulic front disc brake kit (Jake's) available and a mechanical rear disk brake kit (Ausco) as well.

I installed a set of Jakes front hydraulic brakes on my cart at least ten years ago. I've replaced the pads maybe twice. Here in SW Pennsylvania we have HILLS. And since I drive on many logging roads\gas well roads\power lines, etc...stopping in the mud or wet is sort of key to "surviving" without an incident.

The Jakes kit (as others do the same I think) is an independent front wheel disc hydraulic setup. The rear drum factory brakes work as they came from the factory, but with the additional front wheel stopping power, my cart is no longer the "As exciting as a roller-coaster" when traversing the terrain. (And that's a good thing).

And I do like the idea of should, for some reason, the front brake system fail, the rear setup will still work.....and vice-versa.

I will do the same with the RXV. The regen motor brake is very powerful but, it's electric only... Important to mention, the Jake's disk brake dosn't work with stock (8") rims ( at least 10" rims necessary )!

Do you have any pictures underneath on how it hooks up to the factory brakes? Curious.
