Drive belt does not appear to be standard. Just too thin. Looks more like an oversized starter gen belt.

haha no i dont that was an old picture of the original drive belt and if you look its completely bent outward. I have a new one which is the sae just laid out correctly... thats what happens when your sliding sheave does not move....

this may be a dumb question but the pilot jet that sits on the top of the carb next to the adjustment screw, should that have a hole all the way through it like the main jet. I only ask because my cart is running like crap and i cant clean the pilot jet out.. is it that clogged or does it not have a through hole...

The hole is in the bottom and connects to the hole that comes out the side of jet. There is no hole to the outside.

thanks guys i figured that. These motors are pains for sure to get running correctly. I had it running when the rear sheaves blew apart so no i need to replace the stationary sheave and the key way. After that i can actually try it all again. The cart ran pretty slow though barely 12 miles an hour so i know i need to mess with the motor. it was running around 18 or so before i had to change everything out. Thanks again guys will keep you posted on the tuning process. I wish there was a good thread on tuning these motors with the way the vacume works and everything.. I guess the air box has to be pretty tight or it gets to muck leak by... john
