Default brakes---anyone tried this?

Well in the process of weld spring perches on the axle I got from sonic and noticed the the brake plate mount to digg case is different Angle. So the brake cakes will be at hard down angle.

So question.
Has anyone ever swapped the drive and passenger side plates so the could be flipped on a lifted cart to give the cables more ground clearance?

I have a gas TXT rearend in my garage. The brake cables attach at the top of the plates. The ones on my gas Marathon attach at the bottom of the plates.

Good, this will help with the angle change and get cables out of the briars.

Quite a few workhorses have the cables on top from the factory. When you lift it they have to be flipped right for left so the cables will clear the lift blocks
