Smile 2001 cc ds

Helping a neighbor with a new Forward/Reverse switch. The new one came in with the micro switches installed and pre-wired but the wire colors don't match on the middle switch...do I just hook up the wires according to how they were on the old setup?

Unhappy Re: 2001 cc ds

Double checked all the cables...everything is tight and seems to be in the correct position according to schematic...I can hear solenoid click but no reverse??? Is there anything in the micro switch wiring that effects forward and reverse? I was trying to solve an intermittent problem with forward thinking the contacts were worn and when I took the old switch apart the contacts were worn. This thing is eating my lunch...
