That charger should be killing your batteries! Get 6 x 8V batteries and you should be much happier!

Not sure about a controller, I will need to do more research.
Maybe I am wrong that the GC-2 is a 6v, not really any other markings... |

Look at the battery, does it have 3 or 4 cells (where you put water in)?

a 48 volt CC will run on 30 volts , not saying it will like it but it will move but not for long .

Ok, the battery has 4 holes in top, does that indicate 8v?
Sorry to be so ignorant! I thought I had the right diagnosis for poor power when I thought GC-2 was a 6v. About every minute... One or more of the batteries makes a sound like it is discharging for about 2 seconds... |
