Steeleng rear seat part - what is it?
Got a rear seat and there is a metal plate approx 5" x 23"
Skimming through the parts list don't see what it's for. So what is it? |

If it has holes in it it might be a drilling template. Instructions?

Re: Steeleng rear seat part - what is it?
It looks to be to heavy duty to waste for a template. I know there have been some postings here from people who installed them. Tried a search but found only photos after installation.
The piece is also bowed like it was rolled or either damaged. I glanced over the instructions but didn't see anything that looked like this piece. Maybe someone will come along that installed one? |

Identification made - called the MFG
Plate is used for mounting separate seat backs if used in the front. If a single back, not used. |

Don't know yet since I haven't installed it. But I can tell you it's heavy. Might know within a week.

You guys will not be disappointed with the Steeleng seats. I installed mine earlier this year and I was very pleased with the install instructions and continue to be happy with the quality of the product.
