magnet can't be this hard
GE motor. Benn battling this magnet for 2 hours. Any tips

GOT IT. I tapped the old ring back on and startex again. Used a bent screwdriver instead of the paint can tool. Lost a screw driver but got the thing off. Will report back on effect.

Those things can be a major pain. I don't even attempt to do them anymore without taking the motor apart.

why did you change your magnet? Are you hoping for more speed? I am selling a cart and it could use a little more pep does the magnet really help? I always thought it was more of a gimmick then something that really worked? please inform me!
This is a stock serpex motor in a 1998 wired system if your wondering. |
