Drive just quit
My daughter was riding her 2013 cart in the yard, hit a bump, and the cart just quit. I don't see anything unplugged. There's 12v to the fuel pump. I sprayed starter fluid down the intake, and it didn't even try to fire. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks Todd |

Re: Drive just quit
Todd,
If you sprayed starter fluid and got no start.. I would check for spark.. Check around bye the coil, Maybe knocked a wire loose at the connector or something.. Ant... |

Re: Drive just quit
Sounds like a FI cart, so I agree, check for a loose wire that got pulled

Re: Drive just quit
Thanks, guys. I'm going to pull the plug and check for spark this afternoon. Also, I've looked for lose connections, and haven't seen any from the top side/ I'll look closer.

Re: Drive just quit
I haven't found any bad connections. I have good spark at the plug. Does anyone know where the fuel filter is on an EFI motor? I can't see one.

Re: Drive just quit
OK, I think I've figured it out. The choke seems to be stuck. I tied back the cable that goes from the throttle body to the rear, and it runs. But, I don't know how all that contraption operates. I will call the dealer in the morning.

Re: Drive just quit
well, if it has "12v to the fuel pump" and a choke, its got some "rigging" going on. carb'd yamahas never had a electric fuel pump. and fuel injected yamahas dont need/have a choke. this may get interesting.....hmmm
