Rear Electric TXT drive axle replacement.

I have a 2004 stock ezgo TXT that has just stripped it's 3rd drive drum in a year. I am thinking the axle has lost some of it's spline depth and therefore keeps grinding the splines of the drums. Has anyone had this issue and if so how hard or where can I find info on replacing the axle? Thanks in advance.

shopezgo.com has OEM axles.... but do yourself a favor and switch to Ausco heavy duty hubs and you will not buy another one.
