Here is an update on my progress over the last few days.

Front end is all painted and Upper and Lower halves are partially assembled. All new bushings installed. Don't ask how much fun it was replacing the pretty blue urethane bushings in the Delta arms. And they probably were fine, OCD.

Got the new 6 8volt battery tray and bought some aluminum angle to replace the cross members from the old 4 12 volt rack that had been cut out.

I also bought some sheet aluminum to make a couple of mounting plates for the controller, the solenoid, etc as well as a voltage reducer. I have some cutting and fitting to do, then it is off to the welders. I don't know yet how this will all turn out, but ACEKH has set the bar for me to make a neat job of it all.

Might be having second thoughts on the 4" lift, I may look at something that is only 3 inches. I really like the one in my 2006 DS.

Not much for pictures but here are a couple.

Thanks for following and for all the kind words.

I got the frame back from the welder last night. The battery rack supports are in, and broken welds are fixed.

Today I got the pedals back in and that was about all I got done.
But they are all adjusted and ready to go, Thanks Dave.

Here is a picture of the floor mat and pedals back in the frame. And a shot of the new battery racks, I am converting this 2008 frame to 6 - 8volt batteries.

Next task cut the frame in half for the Z plate lift kit.

Thanks for looking,

Looking great! I hope you had as much fun as I did reinstalling the pedal assembly!

If you don't mind me asking, why are you doing a Z lift?

Oh yeah, that was a great task. Especially considering that I had the brake pedal assembly almost done, and took it out to put the mat in. Then I figured out the Go pedal should probably go in first then the brake.
So all together it was about a three hour job for this novice.

NCPW,
I have a 2006 DS with the Z-Plate lift, that is what Club Car uses. I have had it for 10 years, it is stable, have had no problems, and it is pretty inexpensive also.

The CC DS front end is pretty solid and the Z-Plate lift gives you the lift, plus a lengthened wheel base, so it's all good. IMHO.

I do have an All Sports 4" lift in my Precedent, and I like that too.

Today I got the front half of the Lift Kit installed. This includes cutting a chunk out of the frame, and bolting the very front section of the frame back on to the Z-Plates.

I don't know what I did wrong, it was supposed to be a 3" lift and now the wheels don't even touch the ground. Too many Dos Equis for dinner, I don' know. Maybe it will look better in the morning.
