Wiring diagram
How can I tell which wiring diagram applies to my cart ?
I have a EZ Go TXT 1000 ES Workhorse , 36 volt . It does not run or click at all, I checked the motor and it's good Need to begin tracing wire connections and switches . Thanks in advance for any guidance , once I figure out how , I will post some pics if possible. |

Re: Wiring diagram
Use this flow chart to ID the drive system type, then we will post the diagram

Re: Wiring diagram
First, do you know the year and which drive system does it have? I would think its probably series. Pictures of controller can help.

Re: Wiring diagram
By looking at the Flow chart , it must be a Series unit, not sure the year but expect it's pretty old ,It quit running , I found a burnt wire that attached to the FNR mounting plate, replaced it and then it only clicked but no movement.
I may have not gotten all the wires back to the correct terminal b/c now it does nothing at all. I did jumper the motor and it runs fine , not sure where to go from here , solenoid ? or accelerator pedal or some relay issue. |

Re: Wiring diagram
It's obviously not a gasser, so the body, which has the serial number may from a different cart.

Re: Wiring diagram
Probably a 2002 series cart and that serial plate looks original so I would question the validity of ezgo' data at this point.

Re: Wiring diagram
So which wiring diagram would relate to this unit ?
I have a Solid state speed control version diagram that looks closest but have seen several others as well , not sure what speed control I have on this one but have not seen a resister coil bank on it . Thanks for all the replies |

Re: Wiring diagram
This is what I get when I enter a serial number of "1456356"
Make: Workhorse & MPT Type: Electric 36 V Model: Electric Workhorse 1000 Year: 2002 It is a series drive with a Curtis 1204 or 1205 controller and a ITS throttle system. The attached schematic isn't specifically for a 2002 Workhorse 1000, but it ought to be mighty close. |
