G14 Running bad
I’m lost I have a 1996 G14 and it is running bad sometimes and then it will run fine. When it is running bad it has no power, will backfire a lot, and today I noticed the muffler was red hot. Any clues on what o check?

Start with good carb cleaning pull all the jets out and blow air through all them and passages set valve lash and toss in new spark plug
