Alltrax SR600 issue
I have a 99 EZGO limo that I recently upgraded. I converted it to 48v, new trojan 8v batteries, Admiral MOT-B1 motor, Alltrax SR600 controller, SW202 contactor, 400a solenoid, 2ga wires, etc. I had an issue a month ago where i could only get 85% throttle so Scottie told me to do the Clear Auto - Cal on the controller. that fixed the issue. Yesterday my cart quit after a couple minutes. i cut it off and on a couple times and hit the throttle a few times and finally it started going sporadically, enough to get it home. I checked all connections and everything looked good and nothing was hot or warm. i did the Clear Auto - Cal again and everything seems to work again. Any suggestions on what i can do to keep this from happening again? Is there a software update for the controller? mine says V1.1

Re: Alltrax SR600 issue
I have the same controller and when I plug up my laptop it says V 1.1 with a build date of Oct. 30, 2017 so I am thinking that is the latest version. And as I am finishing up my 48v upgrade ąswell hope there isn't an issue. i

Re: Alltrax SR600 issue
I would check throttle linkage & test throttle sensor.

Re: Alltrax SR600 issue
First open the pedal box and check for any moisture. Use a hair dryer if any is found. Second the pedal box wires have been extended in this cart. There may be a bad connection in the extended signal wires or there may be an intermittent micro switch in the pedal box. See throttle signal testing too in the stickies.

Re: Alltrax SR600 issue
Looking for hardware that is loose, allowing throttle range to change. In the case of a ITS throttle type, check slug adjustment. Not sure if you have ITS or 0-5k ohm throttle type.

Re: Alltrax SR600 issue
Thanks for the help. I will check these things. I have ITS throttle I believe. Could a problem with the throttle box cause the controller to change?

Re: Alltrax SR600 issue
I think if your throttle signal is bouncing around the auto-calc could be thrown off it's game. In which case re-calculating would correct the problem until it reoccurred.
