I bought a spoool of 4 gauge wire and a bunch of terminals. I was having voltage drop so replaced all the main wiring with the new wire and cleaned the mounting posts. lot of corrosion can build up in the connection points and cause voltage drops. It's also a good idea to ground the motor directly to the negative battery terminal just to help.

Hey guys I checked the fuse on the left side it was good is there more than one fuse on these. Also I'm not sure what that black wire is going to its had some hack job wiring done to it. Even have speaker wire running to the battery for power wire. I have to go through this thing does anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram with color code. I have to get my wife to help I'm colorblind lol surprised I haven't blown my self up do to that lol. But really thanks so much to everyone big help.

that's an easy one. they are all over the web but I stumbled across this site that has all of them. Most the ones you find via google search are real fuzzy and hard to read but these are about as crystal clear as you can get :)

happy hunting! It always intrigues me how badly people botch up electrical, and makes me wonder why they even try when it's clear they had no earthly clue what they were even doing.

edit: and yes, there is only 1 fuse.

Thank you so much for the diagram it will help a lot. You are right about the wiring I can't stand when people do that stuff. I might be colorblind but I have a electronics degree an was a mechanic for years. I am very OCD about wiring it drives me crazy that's why I have to fix this mess lol. Thanks again.

I got mine with no spark for $350. The previous wire ninjas got ahold of it before me trying to fix it... I took this picture about half way through as I was trying to test and check for stuff. I had already torn out most of the "added on" wire spuaghetti mess they had laid in there.

funny thing is, i still have parts of harness and connectors i removed that i have absolutely no clue where they came from or are supposed to go. It's been running awesome with no issues so i've come to the conclusion that those either came from a different cart, or are just "optional".

ultimately my final fix ended up being to rip out everything and build a new harness from scratch. that is when I picked up a spool of wire and ran my own heavy gauge wires to the appropriate places. It worked out much better in the long run that way. plus i got rid of the stupid reverse buzzer. all it does is freak out the goats and make them crazier than they would be otherwise lol

Well I got to work on mine some the wiring is a mess and a joke. I have a black wire that Is grounded to the top of the valve cover. It is twisted to another wire coming out of the motor near the front. I have no idea what the hell it's there for.

G9A is a gas cart, G9E is battery operated.

Hey guys put a new solenoid on an new terminals and battery still does nothing. I have 12v on solenoid battery side starter side I get between 9 an 10v when pressing gas pedal. Nothing when you let off the gas. Is there a way to test if the pedal switch is bad or have any idea what else it could be.
