@BobBoyce

Could the speed regulation be turned up to reach 35 mph downhill instead of 32 mph with the existing controller?

What is the Curtis part number is for the 350amp controller?

Does the (4) 12V I have versus (6) 8V play a factor here at all?

Do you have any reference for the lithium pack I would need, cost and part numbers? I'm assuming I'd need a completely new charging system and mounting tray for the batteries too?

I found a GPS speed app called "Sp33dy" that overlays the speed on top of the camera view and allows you to record video. As soon as I can figure out a way to mount the phone to the windshield I'll take a video that shows speed and the hills we have in here. Our neighborhood is appropraitely called "River Hills".

I'm very happy with the performance of the cart and was smiling ear-to-ear after testing it against my friends Club Car.

Here's a YouTube video of the run I made earlier today. Sorry for the shaky camera work, I had my iPhone clamped to the extended top support post.

The 15 mph I mentioned previously was with myself and my 210 lbs. friend onboard.

What fender flares are those and do you like the fit?

I think they are the MadJax ones but they weren't suppose to go on the cart. Cart builder and I discussed showing me what it looked like with and without and let me decide but then showed up with them installed. 🤷*♂️ These tires don't stick out and into the flare at all.

Your downhill speed is limited by your motor RPM, due to undersized tires. Your downhill speed can be brought up with larger tires, but it would lower your uphill climb speed equally, unless you upgrade to a 350 Amp controller. With the 350 Amp controller, that would greatly lower your loss of uphill speed, and increase speed overall. Mathematically, your tires are only 18.84251968503937". That is limiting your speed on the flats and downhill. Controller current is limiting the speed uphill You really want tires that are closer to 20.5"

There are 2 part number 350 Amp Curtis controllers that you can use, 1206AC-5350 or 1206AC-5360

I tried pulling up a link but their site is really slow on my satellite internet.

Here's a set of four 20.49212598425197" street tires on 10" wheels for $448.57...

Very nice build. I'd love to see a video with your sound system playing. I bet it sounds great.

It really does sound amazing. The cart builder didn't have the sub woofer wired correctly so I ran the system without the sub until I could fix the wiring. What a difference now that the sub is working. Not obnoxious amount of bass, just enough to complete the full range of sound. I'll get a video posted here soon.

Circling back to this ... the 14" wheels and 205/30-15 tires are a rough ride. I'm not sure I want the 10" look though. These almost look like stock cart tires. Do you have a picture of the mounted on your RXV that you can post?
