Default HELP!! Installed Alltrax 500 amp with 400 solenoid and 2g cables - going SLOWER

I just installed an Alltrax 500 as title states. Cart runs, but is going SLOWER then it was previously..... ??

It takes off like a rocket - peals out on my garage floor - but then settles in at about 12 miles per hour. With my motor on stock controller I was getting 33

pics of alltrax setting attached

I have an admiral motor - noticed a few posts here of similar issues with that motor.

Anyone have access to a field map or setting that works?

Well, no doubt! Who set that throttle curve!? You want a gradual start like this below.
Alltrax distributes maps for all the Admiral motors. What motor & map are you running?

I'll try to recreate that map. The controller came programmed as you see in the pics, I haven't modified.

Running an Admiral MOT-D2 - do you have a map you can send me? You've got my email, just ordered this from you this week. RR

See the B2 map attached.
The D2 is a Yamaha motor. The B2 is an Ezgo motor.
Can you double check what cart and motor you have?

Good to hear it. Ignore my email
The correct map will set the pole correct automatically.

One other thing I noticed was that your Max Armature Regen amps is set too high. Do you want it that high. Seems like you would be flying through the windshield when you took your foot off the throttle with it set that high.

It took me a bit to figure out what that meant - and YES - I was lunging forward every time I took my foot off - set it to 0 and am good now

You might want to leave the Max Battery Regen Amps set to something like 50 because that one sets the rollaway braking.
