Lights turn signals problem
2007 txt. The problem is turn signals and brake light work fine. But when I turn the 3 position key switch to lights position. The lights are on fine front and back, but brake lights, don't get brighter and the turn signals not working in back, but front work, but are dim.
I replaced the 3 position switch, same problems. Could this be a ground or the turn signal switch on steering column. Sent from my SM-T820 using Tapatalk |

Re: Lights turn signals problem
Are they stock or aftermarket? Did they ever work? Did you do anything to the cart just before they stopped working?

Re: Lights turn signals problem
I only have head and tail lights, as that's all that used to be required to be street legal in Georgia. Hopefully they finally fixed it, as the requirements were to have brakes, and rear lights. I think the intention was "brake lights", but what do lawmakers know about laws regarding things that drive on public roads?
Anyway, maybe when you remove the lenses you'll see what's really going on. I suspect the driver board has partially failed. You may find a new board cheaper than buying the whole light. I assume that's what you did before? What make and model number do you have, in case someone here has the same? |

Re: Lights turn signals problem
Thanks. From the summary, it looks like they fixed it. IF I ever get around to making it street legal, I'll have to abide by Gwinnett County, Hall County, and City of Braselton. The GA law only defined what street legal meant. It was up to each municipality to accept, or add additional restrictions, but they had to pass enabling legislation.
I used to be on a legislative review team at my former job, so I watched this go through revisions until it passed. I always go here, and don't take others' interpretation. https://www.lexisnexis.com/en-us/gateway.page |

Re: Lights turn signals problem
Ok so I changed the rear tail lights and same problem, no brake lights or turn signals with 3 way switch turned to lights. The front works fine. Front has separate turn signal yellow lights.
The rear is just solid red, no separate turn signal lights. Sent from my SM-T820 using Tapatalk |

Re: Lights turn signals problem
Have you confirmed a good ground circuit?
Granted my experience with 12 volt is with automotive systems, but this has symptoms of bad ground or faulty positive connection supplying 12 volts.“if” you are certain wiring is correct. |
