Default 2016 Ezgo RXV Lift Kit

I'm looking into buying a lift kit for my 2016 ezgo rxv electric. I want to make sure that there isn't any major changes from the previous models. Also would pros and cons of a spindle vs a A-Arm lift. All suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

IMO the A-Arm rides better, I would only use spindle if I were just going for looks. Spindle is easier to install.

Actually, I would not use a lift kit at all, I would go with 20.5" tires non-lifted. Lifted carts are more unstable at the higher speeds RXV's of which RXV's are capable unless you get the front end setup and aligned just right which I have found to be tedious and time consuming.

Thanks for the feedback.

I Totally agree and I was looking into non lifted setups but they look so sweet when lifted.

Do you know of any changes to the suspension in the newer 2016 models? I see lift kit claiming they fit 2008-present.

Reason I ask is because I bought a light kit and found out the rear lights were changed after 2015. Do want to run into the same issue with a lift kit if I decide to purchase.

There was a change to the rear axle mounting that may affect you. If your axle tubes have pins sticking out of the front at the leaf springs, a kit that fits 2008 won't fit yours. The 2016 would have the pins.. also, shock mounting was different.

Did you raise your 16 EZGO? If so, what kit did you use?
