Default Low voltage - not holding charge?

I have a 48v Club Car. Not new but working.
Except, recently, it doesn't seem to be holding the charge. Fine if I give it a boost and it runs fine, but a few hours later it is sluggish and 'shudders' on slopes.
One of the 6 batteries is only showing a little over 6v and the others 9v+

Is that enough reason for it not to hold the charge?

Thanks, Barry

Me answering myself, couldn't find a 'delete'

That low battery is definitely your issue, how old are the batteries?
