Need help- phone went into dark hole on dash

This is super ridiculous to write.
I’ve got a 2017 ez go txt. I was setting my phone in the dash (next to key) looks like a radio spot. It’s got half an opening that I didn’t see... and as I was setting my phone in what I thought was a black box the phone went through the hole and is now stuck inside the space behind the dash.

I wish I was making this up.

There’s an open gap behind it from the front area of the cart but I can’t reach back up in there enough to get the phone and the space in the dash is too small for me to get my hand through.

Help?!!
Options before I end up having to load this and take to a repair place.

I'm not all that familiar with that cart, but we have members here who are. They will help.

Could you post a photo of the spot you are talking about?

Also, if you do move it make sure it does not fall out somewhere and totally lose it.

It’s hard to see but the top half of that opening is open and that’s where the phone went through

OK. Are you SURE it is still in there? Call it. If it is, get a good flashlight and lay on the ground underneath the front of the cart. Call the phone and see if you can determine where it is and perhaps reach it. I would do this for you but of course cannot right now.

I know what it feels like to lose a phone. It sucks.

Update- I got it!!!

Take the cup holder out.
Easy! Push the front pop the three clips and boom cup holder comes out and boom anything that falls through that hall is being collected under the cup holder!

You would not believe the things I've found there! Tons of coins, lots of keys including the one to their front door, various tokens, paper money, a mountain of golf tees, 6,000 golf pencils, ball markers, divot fixer tools, golf shoe spikes & tools, AA & AAA batteries, Watch batteries, the pins from several sets of "keyswitch panel clips", prescription drugs, pot, half burned joints, half burned cigars, a million old cigarettes & butts, swiss army knives, small flashlights, the list goes on.... its unreal.....

I'm just hoping someone figures out how to jamb a gold bar through that slot! Lol!
