2017 EZ-Go: Reverse Buzzer
Recently purchased a 2017 EZ Go RXV, & wondering if anyone knows how to disable the Reverse Buzzer. There is no way to get behind the panel where the key is inserted, unlike older units.

With a programmer you can turn it off. Must people don't have a programmer so just put some tape over the buzzer. Don't not mess with the wiring the cart won't run and you might blow the controller.
Buzzer is under the plastic controller cover. |

Sticking an ear plug in the reverse buzzer also works really well. Quiets it so you can barely hear it.

I simply wrapped a few layers of Gorilla duct tape over the opening and it is very quiet. I actually do like the slightly audible warning when the cart is in reverse.
What ever you decide DO NOT snip the wires to the buzzer. |
