Something new. I put in the old controller and now it will run in reverse. Forward does not do anything, the S2 wire from F/R switch to motor and M- wires get hot when I have the accelerator down, in forward. The solenoid does click in forward.

I just finished unwireing the motor and traced all wires back. I don't know if any were wrong but, I wired the motor per schematic and now it is running fine, forward and reverse. I don't know why. The cart was running fine and just quit before. Hopefully it will continue. I can't thank you enough JohnnieB. You were great!
