Default Which Battery

OK, Ive read the stickies and searched a lot, but I want to ask the question:
If money was no concern and you were buying 8 volt batteries, which ones would you get?

8 volt lithium? That would require more modifications. Just talking about replacement of batteries only.

Since batteries are replaced as a 'pack', the other poster was saying to go with a ~48 volt lithium pack.

Gotcha. That why I put 8v batteries in bold. No biggie. Still new to all of this.

Thank you JohnnieB for the chart. This is for the 12v to 8v conversion but should give you some good info.

B-Mo.....
For starters, stick with a BRAND NAME know for their batteries, such as Trojan, Crown, or US BATTERY.

Next: buy the 8V on that brand that has the HIGHEST AH Rating. The higher the AH rating, the more run time you will have. Granted, they will cost a little more, but if taken care of properly, it will be work it in the end!

Here is a cart with the major battery MFG. the noes high lighted in yellow are the STANDARD AH batteries, above that are the ones I would recommend.

That list is out of date.

US Battery - US 8VH ATB - 8V - 205AH is missing from the top of the list.

So, this would be the best choice?
