Which Battery
OK, Ive read the stickies and searched a lot, but I want to ask the question:
If money was no concern and you were buying 8 volt batteries, which ones would you get? |

Thank you JohnnieB for the chart. This is for the 12v to 8v conversion but should give you some good info. |

Re: Which Battery
B-Mo.....
For starters, stick with a BRAND NAME know for their batteries, such as Trojan, Crown, or US BATTERY. Next: buy the 8V on that brand that has the HIGHEST AH Rating. The higher the AH rating, the more run time you will have. Granted, they will cost a little more, but if taken care of properly, it will be work it in the end! Here is a cart with the major battery MFG. the noes high lighted in yellow are the STANDARD AH batteries, above that are the ones I would recommend. |

Quote:
US Battery - US 8VH ATB - 8V - 205AH is missing from the top of the list. |
