Club car precedent parking brake sticking
I recently purchased a club car precedent 2006 that the parking brake is sticking on. The parking brake itself is very stiff. Is there an adjustment that can be made to this parking brake lever or is it an indication of corrosion etc?

Re: Club car precedent parking brake sticking
A 2006 is the gen 1 pedal assembly. They had some issues with them so they redesigned them in 2009? I believe. The problem is they sometimes develop corrosion or get dirt in the pivot. You can pull the floor mat and pull the assembly. Give the assembly a thorough cleaning and lube it all up.
If that is not it then your probably dealing with a bad brake cable. |
