1999 EZGO TXT Altrax SR500 install question

Hello everyone,

I have hooked up my Alltrax SR, but before I connect the batteries, I want to make sure this is correct.


Started wiring up the Altrax and came across a question. I understand that one black wire goes from the solenoid to J1 Black. But I had another black wire on the solenoid that goes into my wiring harness. Where does that get connected to, does it just stay connected to the new solenoid?

I have 2 red wires that were connected to the solenoid. Do those just stay on the positive side of the new solenoid?

I have the 6 pin connector that has White, Black, Orange and Red. As I read the diagram, do they go as follows.

Orange to J1Blue
White to J4
Black to J5
Red to J1Red

What goes to J1Green?

I do understand the M-, B- , B+ and main negative and positive cables, that was easy.
