Play in rear wheel hub
Hello
I am building a street legal cart from scratch and working on install of ausco rear disk brakes. There is a small amount of play between the wheel hub and axle bracket after tightening up the castle nut and curious if that is normal or an issue? |

Re: Play in rear wheel hub
had a similar issue recently. First thing I realized was that I had ordered the wrong axle rod and it wasn't seated in the drivetrain causing play. (probably not your issue). then I realized someone had just used a random washer that was too thick so the hub wasn't sitting flush. additionally. the brake assembly plate was slightly bent backward from trying to pry off original hub making it look like there was more than usual gap.
