Default should there be a fuse on ezgo txt

should there b a fuse on a 36v txt series cart ? i installed a new controller and it works fine but i was told there should b a 60 amp fuse so i put one on but it blows when i floor the cart i have blew 2 already it works fine till i floor it

If you use a fuse, it needs to be at least a 300 amp fuse.

The 60A fuse is supposed to be connected to the thick white wire from the charger receptacle.
There isn't a fuse in a stock EZGO high amp circuit to controller and motor.

Aftermarket controller typically insert a 250A (ANN250) fuse in the high amp circuit of controllers that pass 400A or less and 400A (ANN400) fuse for controllers that pass over 400A.
