Default 08 EZGO TXT PDS Possible bad controller?

Hello all, I am a new member here but have been driving myself crazy searching these threads for weeks trying to find a fix for my golf cart issues. Im leaning towards a bad controller based off of what I’ve been reading but thought I’d make a post to make sure I’m not missing anything.

The cart was working totally fine until one day the kids were riding it and it just stopped dead. I currently have no reverse buzzer, no solenoid click and the cart will not move at all.

I have toned out every wire and tested every switch and all seems to be in working order. I have also tried two different new solenoids with no luck.

Here are my voltage findings on a full charge with key on, switch in forward and toggle switch on run

Battery pack - 38.9

Battery side of solenoid 38.9

Other big post of solenoid 38.5

Yellow wire solenoid post 38.9

Blue wire solenoid post 38.5(solenoid will click if I jump this post to controller (-) but cart still won’t move)

J1
Switch in forward I have full voltage on all pins except pin 2
Switch in reverse I have full voltage on on all pins (even 3)

J3
Full voltage on all pins

J4
Pin 1 - nothing with pedal depressed and full voltage when pedal is pressed
Pin 2 - full voltage wether pressed or depressed
Pins 3 & 4 - no voltage wether pressed or depressed.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

You have voltage everywhere you should so sounds like it is shot.

I would suspect the Inductive Throttle Sensor (ITS) or the associated wiring. I had this trouble years ago. Looking at my notes you should have around 12 volts across J4 pins 3 & 4 when you press the pedal. This voltage should decrease as you continue to press the pedal. Sometimes there is a four pin Molex connector between the pedal box wiring J4 and the ITS known for causing problems like this. Trace the wiring from the pedal box to J4 and you may find the problem.

Good test but even if the its was having issues the solenoid should click when the pedal is pushed. Also not sure if the pds carts have that molex plug in the middle.
