Default 2019 EZ Go RXV LSV

I am the original owner of a 2019 RXV, LSV.
Looking for ways to make it a bit faster with more range.

Cart was built (for DOT compliance) by a company called Mid South LSV.
It is a 48 volt cart with 4, 12 volt batteries.

From what I am told, everything is original as it came from EZ Go. Motor, controller, etc, etc.
The exception is that it was programmed for a max speed on 25mph.
Cart will do 28 mph according to multiple GPS units.

My questions to the brain trust are.
If I change the wheels and tires to 23" ( with 6" lift) motor, controller and battery cables. How much more speed can I expect to gain?

Also would swapping to Lithium give me a much more noticeable range over lead acid?
The current digital battery gauge is unreliable at best.

Thanks in advance.

As far as I know the controller is stock as it came from EZ Go.

Wheels are 12" are I believe tires are 18".

6-8v batteries will get you more distant. 205/65-10 tires will get you more speed without lifting the cart. I would have to see your controller to be able to say if you can get more speed out of it or not.

Attached is a picture of the rear of the controller.
Hope this helps.

Tires are 214/40-12.

The 6" lift was part of the sale as I have intentions of lifting the cart.

No, that doesn't help at all. If you're going to 23" tires, you need to upgrade to a 350amp Curtis RXV controller. The 235amp controllers are over matched once you go to that big or tire.

Will upgrading to a 350 amp controller, along with lift and 23" tires increase mph?
If so, roughly what would the increase be, roughly?

With a programmed 350amp controller around 33mph maybe more...

Thanks for the insight.

Also. Will swapping the lead acid for Lithium increase range substantially or is it not worth the expense?

Lithium only increases range if you have increased AH capacity. But it's worth the expense IMO for several reasons: Saves about 300 Lbs weight, no acid / water / corrosion, should last at least 10 years. The longevity makes up for the expense if you plan on keeping your rig.
