Default Next path

Ok guys got my SR48500 installed and of course now I want to keep upgrading Now my next options are motor and batteries.

What's better to do first motor or 48v upgrade?

What's all needed for the 48v upgrade? As stated I already have controller/solenoid/HD FNR/ 2ga Cables.

I am sure there is a post about this but using the search function didn't help.

Upgrade the power supply first and the load or power demand second. For a series cart you can go to 48v with the stock motor and see significant improvement... and then go with a bigger motor later.

I would totally go Lithium. ECO Battery is great. I know it's pricey but well, well worth every penny.

Lithium......this one. Get the kit that has everything needed. , ScottyB has them (I think). If you are thinking that they are too expensive, by the time you buy charger ($300-$400), batteries ($1,400-$1,600 x 2 = $2,800- $3200). Staying with FLA for the next 10 years will cost you $3,400 to $3,600, Eco pak will be around $2,700 and the performance and handling will be impressive. No more maintainence, corrosion, battery acid and 400 pounds lighter. Lithium should last 10 - 15 years. I have not seen anyone that got a lithium say it was a mistake. All I've seen, say that they wish they had done earlier (me included).

You may need to upgrade that solenoid again if its one thats only setup for 36v... if its universal you will just need the 48v diode and resistor. (if you cart requires them) I agree the jump from 36v to 48v is the best bang for the buck improvement I made.

We have new 105ah 51v Eco battery combos on the way.
We have one smaller 72ah 51v combo in stock too.
Watch for stock and shipping updates on the cartsunlimited.net website.

I have the orange top one I got with my SR48500. I think it is good for 48v.

So I just need that kit correct? My controller and everything else is fine to work with it?
